Apple Nrg Printer Drivers For Mac
If your printer isn’t AirPrint-enabled, you can make sure it’s compatible with macOS by checking the Apple Support article Printer and scanner drivers for Mac. For information about using a printer with an iPhone or iPad, see Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Compared with using 'PCL6 Driver for Universal Print' by itself, this utility provides users with a more convenient method of mobile printing. Note: PCL6 Driver for Universal Print v2.0 or later can be used with this utility. Earlier versions or other printer drivers cannot be used with this utility.
Hi there,
Could anybody could help me?
I'm running 10.9.5 (Mavericks) and I have a Ricoh Aficio MP C2800 photocopier/printer. I downloaded these three files:
Apple Nrg Printer Drivers For Mac Os
Foomatic 4.0.6
Canon Printer Drivers For Mac
Ghostscript 8.7.1
Ricoh-Aficio_MP_C2800-pxlcolor-Ricoh.ppd
All from here: http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/openprinting/macosx/pxlmon o
I installed the first two and saved all the files including the driver in a folder within applications. I plugged in the printer via usb (I figured I'd make the networking work later) and found the printer easily. I selected the above ppd driver from the folder I'd saved it to. It let me customise some features - extra paper trays/finishers etc. So good so far.
When I tried to print a test page, it just gets stuck sending the data. I can see the test print in the print queue. It says 'Printing - sending data to printer.' And that's as far as I get.
Can anyone give me some pointers please??
Many thanks,
Will
