Bible Missionary Church Inc. 2005 Manual
The Pilgrim Nazarene Church was founded at the end of 2003 by former members of the Bible Missionary Church, a conservative Holiness church. The founders felt that the Bible Missionary church had begun to drift from the high standards around which it had been founded. The Bible Missionary Church's institutions include Bible Missionary Institute, a 4-year Bible college in Rock Island, Illinois; a Bible college in Houston, Texas; and a boarding school for at-risk children.
The denomination has experienced international growth throughout its roughly 50 years of existence and presently has between ten and fifteen thousand members.
