Erj 140 Manual
The ERJ-140 has a range of 1,650nm, and can carry an additional seven passengers. The original member of the family, the ERJ-145, has 50 seats but a shorter range of 1,550nm (see table, page 8). The newer ERJ 145-XR still has 50 seats, but an increased range of 2,000nm. ERJ-135, ERJ-140 and ERJ-145 are all members of the ERJ-145 family of aircraft. This is a family that was designed for the regional market from the outset. Embraer 190 Aircraft Maintenance Manual - The Best. View and Download Embraer EMB-505 Phenom service manual online. C&L Aviation Group offers ERJ 145 Repair Management services
Before entering any ERJ 145 repair management program it’s important to know the facts. We have outlined many common questions we receive about the program and answered each below.
What does “repair management” mean?
“Repair management” refers to organizing customer repair work packages, tracking work flow (parts and labor), entering this data into a database, and then reviewing the data and giving it to our customer on a regular basis. It also means interfacing with our customers throughout the repair process to ensure that their repair work meets their requirements for quality, turn-time and budget.
What is the benefit to being in a program like this?
Using a company like C&L to manage aircraft repairs means that operators can focus on their business and leave the details of maintenance, records, parts and inspections to a professional.
Why should someone choose C&L to do their ERJ 145 Repair Management?
Our quality workmanship and lower turn times allow the customer to return the aircraft to revenue service quickly and at a competitive cost. Also, we are a One-Stop-Support facility, which means we can manage the repair of every aspect of the aircraft, from interiors and paint to maintenance and inspections. That saves time and money.
What areas of the plane does C&L manage for customers?
As a One-Stop-Support facility, we can service an aircraft nose-to-tail in one location. We even offer records management, aircraft remarketing and parking stands.
For some major components, such as engines, landing gear and propellers, we have agreements with major third-party vendors, and we administer the repair of these items on behalf of the customer.
For all other airframe-related repairs, we have the capability to perform our own in-house repairs on customers’ aircraft.
Here are the areas that we can manage:
- Aircraft heavy checks and modifications
- Component and accessory repairs
- Complete aircraft interior refurbishment
- Propeller inspection and repair
- Avionics upgrade and modification
- NDT
- Aircraft exterior painting
- In-house engineering to support repair development
- Aircraft Teardowns
- Parts Inventory Management
Who is an ideal customer for this program?
The ideal customer for C&L’s One-Stop-Support program is any commercial airline operator who flies one of the following aircraft types and is looking for a streamlined approach to maintenance that is both time- and cost-efficient.
- ERJ 135/145
- Saab 340
- Saab 2000
- Dash 8 100/200/300
- CRJ 100/200/700/900
How does C&L manage so many repairs?
C&L’s repair management process is currently supported by a combination of manual input, an in-house web-based Customer Center System (Web Portal) and an MRO & Logistics Solutions system called Quantum Control. Together, these systems ensure a thorough and safe adherence to FAA certification compliance, and they promote ‘best practice’ procedures to ensure that we consistently achieve top quality, top performance and cost efficiency.
Is there a contract? How long?
For each workscope that goes through our shop, whether for aircraft or component repair, a contract exists. For long-term contracts, we agree upon the terms and conditions of a General Terms Agreement (GTA) as well as the validity period for the GTA on a case-by-case basis.

FleetSmart
Balance your operation
Achieving the right balance between frequency and capacity to keep airlines competitive and profitable is at the very heart of our FleetSmart philosophy.
Instead of using large airplanes flown once or twice at peak times, adding the ERJ into a fleet can smooth demand throughout the day. Passengers not only have more flights to choose from, airlines can deploy larger jets on more profitable routes.
economics
Opening new regional opportunities, efficiently
A high degree of commonality reduces spare parts requirements, permits the use of the same ground support equipment, and allows for standardized training and maintenance procedures. That reduces costs, increases parts logistics efficiency, and improves profitability.
The same crew qualification across the ERJ family means training is one of the simplest in the industry. With the benefits of a common family, airline schedulers and crew planners will find last-minute flight changes easy to manage.
Small units of capacity, like that offered by the ERJ, can be a low-risk way of opening new markets. As demand grows, airlines can add ERJ frequency until capacity demands the use of larger aircraft.
performance
Strength and durability is built in
The ERJ was developed specifically for regional applications. It wasn’t stretched or shrunken from a design meant for another application. It’s an optimized family of regional jets, from top to bottom.
The ERJs airframe has proved itself time and again. The robustness and durability of the design reflected in the ERJ’s 75,000 flight hours or 60,000 cycle crack-free design life. A Central Maintenance Computer (CMC) enables real-time monitoring and automatic fault-finding.
cabin
Space and comfort for crew and passengers
On the flightdeck, pilots appreciate the dark and quiet design philosophy that maximizes ergonomic benefits and safety while minimizing workload.
In the cabin every last detail has been considered. Overhead stowage compartments feature space-saving retractable panels and with no middle seat and the three-abreast, 31inch seat pitch, every passenger has a window or aisle seat.
Three galley arrangement options let airlines customize their standard of in-flight catering and cabin service and all cabins have been designed with crew efficiency and easy maintenance in mind.
